About me

Are we friends yet? Don't worry perhaps after this section.

Meet your co-pilot, Tommy!

I’m an User Experience Designer. That’s a fancy way of saying I’m obsessed with that split second when a user interacts with your product and... it just works.

From digital ecosystems for Nutreco and the Belgian Government. I learned how to organize complex data without losing my mind

But Paper Plane is built for non-enterprises. It’s where I take that enterprise-grade logic and apply it to ambitious founders without the agency bloat. No layers. No noise. Just me and you, folding your idea into reality.

What I bring to the table

1. Sparring partner

I don't just execute blindly. I help you clarify your ideas and ask the right questions upfront, so we build exactly what you need (and don't waste time on what you don't).

2. Young eyes

It’s hard to read the label when you’re inside the jar. I offer an honest, outside view of your business to make sure your message is landing the way you think it is.

3. Enterprise-level design

I’ve worked on massive government and corporate systems. I use that experience to make sure your site isn't just pretty, but built on a solid, professional foundation.

4. A lot of fun & jokes

I actually love this stuff. I treat your project with the same care and energy I’d treat my own, minus the corporate stiffness.

From complex systems to paper planes

I didn’t start with Paper Plane. I spent some years working in enterprises and agencies first, but always focused on how things work and feel, not just how they look.

In the corporate world, I learned that even powerful software is useless if it’s frustrating to use. I spent my time simplifying complex data and features until they made sense.

But eventually, I realized something.

While I thrived on the challenge of enterprise work, I craved something more. Something smaller, more personal.

That’s when I started Paper Plane. I decided to use the high-level strategies I learned from big companies and bring them to founders and small businesses.
